Riverton Hospital Gift Shop Volunteers assist guests with making purchases in the Gift Shop.

Volunteering in the Gift Shop gives volunteers opportunities to provide customer service and a welcoming environment to patients, staff and guests who visit the Gift Shop. Volunteers assist guests in finding items and gift selections, take phone orders, and straighten store displays as needed. Volunteers will have the opportunity to learn how to operate a Point-of-Sale cash register system, help with store displays and merchandising. Previous retail experience is not required. Volunteers are needed one day per week for a 3-4 hour shift. Shift times are from 9a.m.-noon, noon-4p.m. or 4-7p.m. on weekdays. Volunteers may to choose the day and time would like to volunteer. (not all days and times may be available.)

Requirements: A consecutive 80-hour (6-month) commitment, which entails volunteering one day per week for 3-4 hours; Completing a Drug Screening, TB Test, Immunization Check; and Passing a Background Check.

Volunteers must be at least 16 years-old and must be fully vaccinated. vaccination.
